Controlled Test · Contract Evidence

What was delivered—and what did the warranty cover?

QOG’s first controlled user journey tested whether a contract question could be answered honestly from an incomplete record.

The question

The test asked what a vendor had delivered and whether the warranty covered consequential loss.

The method

The available records were separated into source material, extracted evidence, findings and unanswered questions. Each finding had to remain connected to supporting evidence.

The result

The question was answered in part. Where the records did not support a complete conclusion, QOG identified the uncertainty rather than inventing an answer.

Why it mattered

A partial but supported answer is more useful than confident guesswork. It tells the decision owner what can be relied on and what must still be obtained or referred for authorised advice.

Important: Case notes are anonymised and limited to the records and purpose described. They are not promises of the same outcome in another matter.
